Manufacture Gravitation

Posted by Niegl on July 13, 2009

We not going to talk about traffic generation yet.
I am now talking about the “before”. Have you decided of a look for your website?
A dominant color? Brights? Darks with highlights?

Whatever pallets or layouts you choose – you must make an impact on your potential buyer
What you wish that impact to be?
Well thats exactly what you have to decide now.
From the website headers (here are some WordPress headers too), to the sidebars, and background.
Do you want your visitor to have a “WoW” feeling? A feeling that he’s reading a serious knowledgeable article? A feeling something exciting is about to come on the road ahead?

For each of those you will need to choose your design.
You may pay a designer, try to find good free graphics on the web,
or even do it yourself. Most people I know combine the three, thus making things cheaper,
while maintaining a professional look and feel for their website.

While we’re on the subject of graphics, I think this will be a good time for you to start
thinking about a company Logo…

Until next time..

Step 2 – Now what?

Posted by Niegl on July 13, 2009

Hey again,

Assuming you got a domain since the last time you visited here, your next step would be to set course on your route.
Will you be using simple websites, scattered around? index.html’s?
Maybe just one website with a large quantity of original content, or low on content but heavily promoted.
You could also have a WordPress independent Blog, or Joomla-based website.
Both are great, mostly easy to learn, CMSs (Content Management Systems).

Which ever of those you end up choosing for your first website, make sure you make
all the necessary adjustments with your host.
To activate a simple website all you need to do is Upload its index.html file to the main directory of the domain via FTP.
Now if you write the link to your domain in your browser you’ll see your new website. If you need to install WordPress, Joomla,
or others, Check for installers (usually found in the Goodies section of the Admin Control Panel), and their versions.
Sometimes uploading and installing directly to your FTP might be better than using the 1-Clickers the hosts provide you with,
if the programs version is old.

Good luck!
Tell me how it went…

Homeless?

Posted by Niegl on July 11, 2009

Well I dont have much time here today, But I Though I might start you off with the first step.

One of the first things you need as an online marketer – a website.
Your own website.

For that you will have to acquire a Domain Name, and find a place to Host it in.
Usually you will do both at the same place.

Since I do not have much time today I will do the courtesy to send you to this blog.
They tend to have valid, good information, and test before the review.

Personally I’ll recommend 3 Top mark WebHosts for you
(Ordered Not by quality)
First one is GDI. Global Domains International Offer Domains, Hosting, and also a business plan
for aspiring marketers, which is very profitable once used right.

Second one will be StarLogic Host. Also a great Reliable host, With many Features and
discounts, Good service as well.

Third will be DreamHost – Which actually host many of my own websites and have been doing
so for many years. Very reliable affordable hosts, unmatched Support Service, and one of the
most flexible management platform out there if not the absolute best (to my opinion)
for managing comfortably.

Thats it for now, you may start with that and wait for the rest Or you may already have
a domain or a host, but want to see if theres something better out there… There might be!
These are very good hosts.

Again, Im sorry for not giving the full view, but as I said before,
you may read perfectly good reviews that I mostly agree with
about these companies above here (SL), and here (DH)

Until next time
Good luck!
Nigel
